What is the application process? Why do you do it?

We review every application to a Silicon Milkroundabout event. When you apply, we check out the online profile you supplied us with, and we assign you a day to attend.

We work closely with the companies attending our events to understand the precise numbers of jobs they have available and the skillsets and experience levels of candidates they are looking to hire. We then have to be quite strict to ensure we have the right numbers of candidates attending that meet these profiles. This means that we sell out of certain tickets (particularly junior tickets) pretty quickly.

These requirements vary from event to event, however, so if your application is unsuccessful, please do apply for future Silicon Milkroundabout events. In the meantime, we hope we can still be a useful resource for you. Use our website to research the companies attending and look at their careers pages for roles relevant to you but not covered by our event.

Remember: the more informative the online profile you send us, the easier and quicker it is for us to give you an answer. We’re looking for relevant career experience, studies, courses, portfolios of relevant work, online CVs, informative LinkedIn profiles etc.
